Dinner at El Pollo Loco

After our cravings for siomai was satisfied, Joms and I went to SM Megamall to buy a small lock for our bags (for our upcoming Cebu trip).  We decided afterward to eat at El Pollo Loco since Joms was craving for chicken.

El Pollo Loco is located at the Ground Level, Building A of SM Megamall. They serve Mexican food especially their roasted chicken. Their restaurant is good for large group of people to dine in. They have a nice ambiance with acoustic music. I liked their music and its nice to chill there.

Their menu offers a combo meal. You could chose from different variety. Basically, it consist of their grilled chicken with your choice of soft tortilla or rice, salsa (its either spice or not)  and a side dish of your choice.

We ordered two 2pc. Chicken Combo Meals. It has two chicken pieces with two side dishes, 2 pcs. soft tortillas and a salsa dip. We chose potato salad and corn for our side dishes.

The chicken is good especially with the salsa. We placed it on the soft tortilla and rolled it together with the corn and it tasted good. The soft tortilla was only good for once piece of chicken so we have to eat the rest, but still, it was good. I didn’t eat much of the potato salad though. I didn’t like to eat potatoes that day but still it was good. Too bad it was not part of my cravings that night.

We finished our food and stayed there for a while enjoying the music and the comfy environment. I’m sure that we’ll go back there to eat once again.
